Sony's SXRD projection panels are the only display technology we will install in a CEDIA RP22 reference cinema. Native 4K resolution, true 4096 × 2160 pixel mapping, and a contrast ratio that holds shadow detail no LED cabinet can match. We have been installing Sony VPL projectors since the original Pearl, and the build quality and color science have justified the loyalty for two decades.
There are very few projector lines we trust on a reference cinema room. Sony's VPL-XW7000ES and the flagship VPL-GTZ380 are at the top of our list — both for the SXRD panel technology (native 4K, three-chip imaging that bypasses the artifacts of pixel-shifting LCD or DLP) and for the laser light engines that deliver twenty thousand hours of zero-maintenance operation.
The VPL-XW series is our default for residential cinema rooms up to 130 inches. The VPL-GTZ380 — the dual-laser flagship — is reserved for theaters that demand a 200-inch image and reference HDR performance, and pairs naturally with a perforated Stewart Filmscreen and a dedicated Trinnov processor.
The most affordable native-4K SXRD laser projector in our spec sheet — used for residential cinema rooms up to 110 inches with strong ambient light control.
Our default reference projector for residential cinema — 3,200 lumens, native 4K SXRD, Z-Phosphor laser engine with 20,000-hour life.
The flagship dual-laser reference projector — 10,000 lumens, BT.2020 color space, used in projects with screen sizes over 150 inches.
The mastering-grade monitor used by the people who graded the films — installed in dedicated post-production suites and listening rooms inside private residences.
VPL-XW7000ES paired with a Stewart Filmscreen StudioTek 130 — calibrated to D65 reference white and SMPTE C color space by an ISF-certified technician.
VPL-XW5000ES paired with a motorized retractable screen — used for film when desired, hidden behind millwork during the day.
VPL-GTZ380 dual-laser flagship — required for true reference HDR performance on a screen large enough to fill the seated viewing arc to the SMPTE recommended angle.
Sony BVM-HX310 mastering monitor for the rare client who is a serious cinephile or industry professional — a 31-inch reference panel that costs more than a small car.
The modern luxury home runs 200+ connected devices. Most are secured with nothing but the default password their vendor shipped. We take cybersecurity seriously in a way that residential integrators historically have not — and we do it as a permanent service, not a one-time install.
Read the networking briefEvery device authenticated at layer 2, every traffic flow firewalled and logged. Four VLANs, no shared broadcast domain, explicit allow-list.
An off-site security operations center watches your network every hour of every day. Anomaly detection, DNS reputation, real-person escalation in under 15 minutes.
Written compliance report — firmware status, traffic anomalies, capacity planning — reviewed with you every ninety days. Nothing drifts, nothing is assumed.
